Fizzy Artist Finds Her Inner Pin-Up

Thank you to Fizzy Artist for mentioning My Shop on Etsy and also featuring such a great piece as part of "Finding Her Inner Pin-Up" Blog!

Here is a picture of Bethany in her Top Drawer Vintage top she bought on Etsy and her hand painted one-of-a-kind stemware!

Fizzy Artist creator Bethany J. Nelson (as taken from her Website) is originally from Rockford, Illinois and has been drawing, painting and creating since she was 6 years old. At the age of 11 she knew that her life dream was to be an artist only to create things that made people smile. In high school Bethany became refered to as “the resident artist” and was resourced to create homecoming t-shirts, banners, prom invitations, and musical programs.

Bethany attended Illinois State University and majored in Art/Graphic Design. After attending college she moved out to the Twin Cities in Minnesota to live closer to her family. Since her move out to MN she has been all over the metro state painting murals in peoples’ homes. From 2002-07 she also worked full-time as a graphic designer at Westwood Community Church in Chanhassen, MN.

Earlier this year Bethany created a new line of hand-painted glassware and had some success making orders for friends and co-workers. In April 2009, she started to sell her glassware online at Etsy.com. Within 2 weeks of posting a few items she had made her first ONLINE custom order and shipped it to IDAHO! Now Bethany spends her days painting orders for people all over the country!

Thank you Bethany and I wish you the best!
